At 5:00, we were on the air, ready or not. No excuses. No second chances. For years as residents throughout Phoenix turned on the five o'clock news, Richard was always there, behind the scenes, calling all the action. As lead director for Channel 12's five o'clock news - as well as several other prominent programs - it was Richard's job to make sure everything went off without a hitch. That meant everything from the anchorman's tie to the angle of the camera - and everything in between - was Richard's responsibility, and any mistake would be broadcast to millions of viewers throughout the valley.
"Every day it was the same situation," Richard recalls. "At 5:00, we were on, ready or not. It definitely kept us on our toes." Needless to say, the job taught Richard to think fast and make decisions on the fly, while always maintaining a cool and collected exterior.
Same Guy, Different Job
To meet Richard today, you can sense how he was the perfect man for the job. He is friendly and down-to-earth, yet he never loses focus on the next task on his list. After nearly 20 years of working in television, Richard decided there was more to life. He moved to Europe for several years. When he returned to Phoenix, despite opportunities to work again in television, Richard chose to pursue a new carrier path.
Combining his love for the Phoenix area with his proven ability to handle any situation, Richard quickly established himself among Arcadia's premier real estate professionals. Much like his meteoric rise to prominence in television, Richard instantly recognized what makes a good real estate professional, and his clients appreciate his commitment to providing a higher level of service, personalized to each client's individual needs.
"Directing the news was similar to being an orchestra conductor. Everybody had their own job, it was my responsibility to oversee it all and make sure everything happened right on schedule. In real estate, I enjoy providing a similar service, overseeing everything to create a successful transaction."

When you work with Richard toward the sale or purchase of an Arcadia area home, he takes care of all the details, allowing you to focus on the more important aspects of your transaction, like spending quality time with your family.
